Dr. Heather Hollman, BSc, DC

Dr. Heather Hollman is a member of the College of Chiropractors of BC who graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) receiving various academic honors and awards during her time spent in Toronto.   Dr. Hollman is a certified Active Release Technique (ART) and Graston Technique provider and has completed many courses involving manual therapy and physical rehabilitation.   Heather previously graduated from the University of Victoria, achieving a Bachelor of Science degree specializing in Kinesiology. 

Dr. Hollman’s previous experiences in coaching and as a competitive athlete have always guided her vision of combining chiropractic care and human performance.  Her interest in both competitive and recreational athletes transfers directly to her ultimate goal being to help guide all individuals to become the healthiest, fittest, happiest, and injury-free they could possibly be.   She is dedicated to constantly updating her knowledge base by reading the most up to date chiropractic, sports science and medical research at her disposal.  She is currently looking forward to the upcoming Whistler Ironman, where she is registered to provide ART for the competitors.

Away from Chiropractic, Dr. Hollman’s passion lies in endurance sport. She is a two-time half ironman finisher and has participated in many olympic distance triathlons, and half marathons.  She also loves competitive masters swimming of which she became a Canadian Champion for the first time this year.  As a native of Nelson, BC she grew up exploring the outdoors, participating in skiing, hiking, kayaking, and yoga and is generally inspired by being around active people.  She loves the effects an active lifestyle can have on the human body, mind and soul.  Dr. Hollman is excited to be the newest member of the Jointworks family and can’t wait to get to know the community in and around the clinic.
