A Running Analysis is recommended for runners of all levels wishing to either prevent injury or increase performance. Injury prevention and running performance can both be affected by intrinsic factors (i.e. flexibility, strength, functional movement patterns) and extrinsic factors (i.e. environment, training plan, training surface, footwear). The goal of the Running Analysis is to assess both intrinsic and extrinsic factors and establish an optimal and individualized training plan that is specific to each runner.
The full assessment will include:
- Functional analysis (flexibility, strength, and movement patterns)
- Shoe analysis
- Training program analysis
- Treadmill running gait video analysis
- Outdoor running gait video analysis can also be requested
- Follow up appointment
